He completed his graduate clinical research at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in Critical Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine under the Father of Critical Care Medicine‚ Dr. William Shoemaker. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Southern California (USC) Medical Center in Los Angeles‚ California followed by a Clinical Fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas‚ Texas.
Dr. Shori is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology and a member of the Texas Medical Association‚ Tarrant County Medical Society‚ the American Society of Nephrology‚ American College of Physicians, and the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Shori served as Chief of Staff and currently serve as Chief Division of Nephrology and Medical Director of Dialysis at Baylor All Saints Medical Center. He is also the Program Director of Transitional Year residency program and Internal medicine residency Nephrology Specialty Education Coordinator. Along with this he also serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Texas Christian University (TCU) School of Medicine, and University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNT).
